Entrepreneurship is something I personally enjoy doing in my company, Arabic is Simple, which is located in the Netherlands, it comes with many challenges and needs a lot of work and focus, but it's also where you can be creative, ambitious and enthusiastic.
As a Dutch woman with a middle eastren Levantine background, I never knew before that I could be an entrepreneur and when I did I dug deep into it and I fell in love with it.
But why is that? Simply because the culture I grew up in didn’t give me the chance to be aware of such a thing in life called Entrepreneurship, since it's more linked to family businesses and mostly men power positions.
Recently it started to grow more and more and I'm so proud of the fellow entrepreneurs’ women and men who are trying to start their business in the Netherlands or even today in Levantine countries.
And one of those people is Modar, who started his own business recently and is trying to find his way in this society.
Modar shared with us his personal experience about differences and similarities in between the Dutch and Syrian culture regarding Entrepreneurship & studying.
Enjoy the episode and don't forget to share with us your opinion about this topic or if you have any question regarding any cultural points, let us know we might have the answer for you
